Lindsey Stringer has 16+ years of leadership experience across a wide variety of organizational strategy, operations, technology and data functions. She loves solving thorny problems and creating the pathway for transformational change.
She was at TNTP “The New Teacher Project” for 11 years, starting in consulting and eventually leading the Technology department as Vice President of Technology and led strategic projects in Central Operations, creating infrastructure, systems and teams to support organizational growth from $54 million to $144 million in revenue . Prior to joining TNTP, she was a product manager for a technology innovator in online assessments and analytics and worked on the wicked problem of (lack of) education data interoperability including development of a pre-cursor model that led to the Ed-Fi standards initiative funded by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. She began her career teaching fifth grade in Baltimore City.
Lindsey holds four degrees: a BA in Plan II Honors and a BBA in International Business from The University of Texas at Austin; an MA in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University; and an MPAff from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.
She lives in her hometown of Austin, Texas with her husband and three kids and is an active member of several community organizations, an ambitious around-the-house DIYer, and a gardener.
